Recipe Inspiration 3: Apple Recipes

Despite the warm weather lately, I’m craving fall flavors. I want warm dinners, breakfasts with cinnamon, and deserts with apples and pears and pumpkin. Hot chocolate, apple cider, and mulled wine all sound delicious. I wouldn’t mind a trip to a pumpkin patch, or maybe even some apple picking..especially if that means baking with apples!

I hope you’re in the mood for fall, too, because I thought it would be fun to bring you some inspiration for apple recipes today.

And more bacon and apple and cheese. I can’t help myself.

I think the cranberries in this carrot apple slaw make me want this for Thanksgiving…

…especially because it reminds me of this Harvest salad I made a while back. It obviously contains apples (and cranberries).

Back to sweets with a cinnamon apple coffee cake. Crumble topping for the win!

We should probably have a cocktail in our hand, and I vote for an apple and pear sangria. Then again, spiked apple cider also sounds pretty good!
